John J. Laskas, Jr., M.D. joined the practice in 1974. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He attended Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill and received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia. He was awarded his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Wilmington Medical Center, he completed his residency training in the Department of Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Laskas is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Dermatology. His specialties are skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell, squamous cell), psoriasis, lupus, severe acne, and moles. |

Christine L. Egan, M.D. joined our practice in 1996. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton in 1988. She was awarded her Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1992. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's (HUP's) Department of Dermatology. Dr. Egan's specialties are in skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma), acne, and moles. |

Edward F. Chan, M.D. joined the practice in 2003. He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermatopathology, as well as Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989. He was awarded his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School in 1994. After completing his residency in dermatology (1998) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) where he also served as Chief Resident during his final year, Dr. Chan joined the staff of HUP for three years as Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Dermatopathology, Department of Dermatology. | |||||||||

Lisa A. Carroll, M.D. joined the practice in 2005. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 1996. She was awarded her Medical Degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2001. After an internship in internal medicine in California, she completed a Dermatology residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. |

Karen P. Riggs, M.D. will join Dermatology Ltd. in August 2008 upon completion of her Residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University in June. She was awarded her Medical Degree (magna cum laude graduate) from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from the University of Delaware in 1999. She grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. |
